Another year, another Outlook Festival, another launch party! Traffic Drum and Bass & All Out Dubstep teams up for the fifth time to give Stockholm a hint of what’s going on near the Croatian town Pula the 2 – 6 September this year. We are not holding anything back this time and give you five floors and a serious lineup!
On the mainfloor we bring you the legend: Congo Natty. The grime don – Flowdan.
And the release of AOD011 by L-Wiz + support from Kalawanji.
In room 2 aka “Sound System Room” we have Dub Smugglers with Kuntri Ranks straight from Manchester. For those people that’s been to Outlook before you know how the beach parties going down, Dub Smugglers are the ones who are responsible for that!
In this room we also have three swedish reggae sounds – Topaz, Safari and BiigBelly. All this will go down on Topas own Sound System, expect some seroius weight!
In the “DnB Box” we have no other than the resident dj for Metalheadz, Genre, Neighbourhood – DJ Flight.
Supporting her we have the local swedes – Limbz (Traffic).
Raz / JNB / Estated (B2B) and Chiquita & Crame.
Outside we have invited Klubb Klasskrig to celebrate the international workers day.
Togheter with KKK we have the local girls in Hobbyrummet aswell as the swedish hiphop legends – The Salazar Brothers.
In “The Hidden Room” we have Slick Shoota from Norway. The new project from Marcus Price and Eboi called Badin. M.Wrecker + Groovestreet from UK .
Outlook Festival is the largest Soundsystem Culture festival in Europe, bringing together the biggest names from the most vibrant and cutting edge dance scenes around.
During four days at the end of summer, the festival is set in an abandoned fort perched above the Adriatic sea, next to a beach right near Pula, Croatia.
When we talk about bass music we don’t mean the bastardised commercial version currently being sold to children, we mean underground dancefloor music, whether it be house, techno, dubstep, reggae, dub, hiphop, garage, grime, electronica, etc.
As Duke Ellington puts it “There are two kinds of music. Good music, and the other kind.”
Now approaching its eighth year, Outlook has grown rapidly and is going from strength to strength. Anyone who has come to any of the last 7 Outlooks will tell you how amazing the vibe was, how wicked the music was, how beautiful the smiling people were and how stunning the setting is.
